My experience with blogs

This is my last blog, I think that I am happy for that, because that means that the semester is ending and I just want my holidays!!

I dont know if I enjoy to do the blogs, but sometimes was funny write about things that I like and others many times was so boring try to do it. And the worst days were when I felt that I can not think in english, these days I didnt feel inspired with the language.

I dont know if I get better doing the blogs, but at least I could practice my english and learn some new words that I needed to exprese my ideas. 

I think that is good to do blogs in the class, because we can practice and learn how to write, because is diferent talk the language and write it whitout  spelling misakes and grammatical errors. But I think that the blogs we could do it in our houses and use the time of class to practice talk in english. 

And I want to say that the topic of this blog is so boring, its like a customer service survey jajaj

My favourite tree or plant

I dont know if I have a favourite tree, but I like so much Porlieria chilensis, that is a endemic tree of Chile, most commonly known like Guayacán. I like this tree because I think that is so especial and beautiful. Is a shrub or small tree whose branches has a witish color with small and composite leafs, and its flowers are simple, small, purple and cute. 

Guayacán is distributed from Valparaiso region in the province of Limarí to Libertador general Bernardo O`higgins region  in the province of Colchagua, I mean its distributed in the central zone of the country, in the mediterranean climate. 

Porlieria chilensis is in vulnerable state of conservation according to the UICN that is the international union for conservation of nature and has a red list where they have the state of conservation of any plant. 

The kind of forest where Guayacán grows is in sclerophyll forest, that is composed of plants from mediterranean climate with hard leaf. 

A place I would like to visit

I would like  to go to Tierra del fuego, that is a place located in the southernmost zone of America, and is shared between Chile and Argentina.
I want to go to this place since I was a Child, because for school i had to read the book "Perico trepa por Chile" In the book, Perico is a child who lives in Tierra del fuego and he with his family has a flock of sheeps. I dont remember the complete history of the book, but I always have the idea that i want to go to that place.  I have a good memories about that book, is a cute history.
And was in that book where I knew for the first time about that place. After of that, I research about Tierra del fuego, and is a beautiful and peaceful place with wonderful landscapes, so I wanted to go even more.

I would like to know that place and then think if I liked so much how to live there. but I think that would be so cool live there, althoug some lonely.
I want to visit that place, but I dont care if I go alone or with family or friends, but I think that would be cool go with my friends.

A photograph I like

The picture that i like is the one where my litle sister have to use a carabinero hut because in her garden they will celebrate the carabinero day. I put on her the hut to look how she looks like, so she taked the hut and put on her upside down. Its was so funny, because she looks like a shady police. So i decided to take her a photo and she posed so weird, so she look even more like a tender and shady police. 

This picture cause me so much fun and I always show it to anybody. When she grows up I will  bother her with this photo, like the good grown sister that I am.  

I took this picture in april of this year on my house. I always take photos of my sister because she is so funny and she likes me to take her photos, so she poses for the camera making weid faces or a big smile.

My favourite piece of technology

I think that the piece of technology that I use more is the smartphone, I dont remember in what year I got it, but the first one that I had, my mom was who gave it to me. It was a little cell phone, that dont had touch sistem and the only game that it had was the snake, I liked so much that game.

Currently I use my smartphone for everything, and is so useful. I use to search information, talk and chat with people, to see mys e-mails, watch videos, listen to music, play video games, to read,  check u-cursos and to check social networks like instagram and pinterest. Too i use it to take photos, see the time and the timetable.

I use my cellphone every days, maybe dont along all the day, but there is not a day when I dont use it.

I like it because with it I can do so much things, and help me with my diary life.

without cellphone maybe I will talk more with people and when we are sharing up, we concentrate completely in the people and not in the phone. Maybe the relationships will be more complete. But somethings will be more complicated, like search information, contact with friends or talk with people that is far away.

why did you choose this career?

Along my childhood I wanted to study many diferents careers and the career I wanted to study changed with the time, first I wanted to be chef and work on a five stars restaurant, then I wanted to estudy something related whit natural sciences because I liked animals and plants, and know fun fucts  about that. On high school I started to like literature, because I started to read more and I taked elective humanist because of that, and I liked so much, I learn thing that still liking to me, like latin and linguistics. But the last years I became to thing that I need to study something more conecting whit nature, because I dont want to be enclosed in four walls.

Finally when I have to aply to university I was between literature and forestry, but I dont really knew what to choose, because both of them had something that I like. But one day I had a dream where I chose literature and I was in class, but I didnt want to be there, I looked to forestry and I felt that I had taken a bad choise, then when I wake up with the bad feel, I taked that dream like a signal of the universe, so I decided to study forestry.

Curently I feel that I take a good desicion, because I like the career, the environment, the people and the class, and I like so much field trips, I like what I am learning.

I like that the university have many green areas.

In the future i want to work in something related with conservation of nature or investigation in the area of ecology or anatomy of plants.

My Auto Biography

Javiera Giha Reyes was born in Santiago, Chile, on  february 09th of 1999. She estudied at Colegio Carmen Arriaran at elementary school ultil 6th grade and since 7th grade to high studies she estudied at Internado nacional femenino Carmela Silva Donoso. Currently Javiera is studing at Universidad de Chile the career of forestry. 

She live whit her family that is composed by her mom, brother, sister and whit her 3 dogs in Macul, Santiago since a few months, because before she lives in Ñuñoa in a bigger house.

Her hobbies are watch movies and cooking, she likes to try new recipes and the best part is eating the things that she cook, also she likes to go to eat outside whit friends, especially know new vegan restorants. 

she likes to go to hills or parks and spend time whit her friends there, because is nice stay in nature and travel to know new beutiful places, although she never travel to another country.
